I co-own Your Life Your Style, a lifestyle shop and online retailer, having spent many years running retail businesses and marketing theatres.  I continue to do some PR and marketing work, mainly for companies in the entertainment industry. Markettng is about choosing the right product for the right customer and then putting it across to them in the most effective way.  I’ve learnt a little bit about this over the years and I’m learning all the time, especially as the market and the media are constantly changing. I’m happy to share what I know and be told when I’m wrong. I have been fascinated by marketing since I was in my teens and I fell in love with theatre as a child. Most of my observations in this blog are about these subjects, although inevitably I also give a lot of thought to retailing and small businesses these days. I like to be positive and I tend to see the funny side of things. If you do too, please join me.

You just want to buy a ticket so why do websites insist that you register first? It’s anti-customer and it loses business.
